Grot’s Union Backers fully endorsed Biden/Harris and Black Lives Matter Protesters

What’s next? Planned Parenthood money?

Silvia Grot takes $10,000 in Pro-Biden Pro-BLM Liberal Democrat Union Money

MICHIGAN LABORER’S POLITICAL LEAGUE Union PAC

This organization is Public Enemy #2 of Taxpayers right after the Liberal Teachers’ Unions. This Liberal Democrat Union is Silvia Grot’s Top Campaign Contributor having donated 10x as much as the next highest third-party contributor.

What kind of Republican takes $10,000 from a Liberal Union that supported Joe Biden for President and Black Lives Matter Protesters?

One more time…

What kind of Republican takes $10,000 from a Liberal Union that supported Joe Biden for President and Black Lives Matter protesters?

Prevailing Wage

Republicans in the Michigan Legislature repealed the Artificially high Union Wages law (Prevailing Wage) on June 6, 2018, saving taxpayers $224 million per year — and $2.2 billion in total — on K-12, University and State building construction from 2002 to 2011 if the prevailing wage law didn’t exist.

“Projects paying prevailing wages cost 10-15% more than if it was built by the private sector,” said Republican Michigan Senate Majority Leader Arlan Meekhof, R-West Olive. “The time has come to eliminate this outdated law and save our taxpayers money.”

Silvia Grot taking Liberal Union money supports Liberal Democrat Gretchen Whitmer’s fight to restore Prevailing Wage. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on 10-7-2021 ordered that contractor on state projects pay union rates for state construction projects, in a move that would override the Republican-controlled Legislature’s 2018 repeal of Michigan’s “prevailing wage” law.

Sylvia the R.I.N.O.?

Silvia Grot appears to have lied when her literature said she is a True Republican, Commonsense conservative. No CommonSense Conservative would spend 15% more than market rates to build and maintain State, University and local School Buildings. Conclusion: Silvia Grot is a R.I.N.O, a Republican In Name Only.

By taking $10,000 of Liberal Union Money, Silvia Grot seems to be following the example of former Republican Michigan State Representative Larry Inman.

Inman was charged with seeking a bribe from a labor union in exchange for favorable votes on the Prevailing wage issue after investigators obtained his text messages that said campaign cash would be needed to overcome pressure from Republican leaders. Larry Inman who was accused of offering to sell vote over text says, “he should have phoned instead”.

Would Silvia Grot vote to give artificially high wages and benefits to her $10,000 Union Friends at the expense of taxpayers? When state lawmakers voted on June 6, 2018, to repeal Michigan’s prevailing wage, about 93% of them voted the way their fundraising reports suggested they would:

Silvia Grot’s own campaign literatures shows no Job history, no formal Education, not even a High School Diploma, no Professional Experience, no Military Experience.

Silvia Grot refuses to attend public debates, won’t give Press Interviews before the March 1, 2022, election, won’t answer her campaign phone and apparently doesn’t speak nor understand the English Language very well.

Sure, Sylvia Grot’s volunteer work as a School Lunch mom is nice but does not prepare a person to be a State Representative to vote on $70 billion Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 state budget and oversee 46,824 State Employees. Republican voters also rejected candidate Silvia Grot as unqualified three times.

And then there is the bait and switch…

Special Election March 1st

TripleDippers notes that Terence Mekoski is a 35-year Law Enforcement officer, having the budget and supervisory experience gained from working for City, Sheriff and Federal Law enforcement and supervising so many of the law enforcement men and women who keep us safe.

This is in sharp contrast to the empty resume of Sylvia Grot who never listed any job or education.

While not an endorsement, we believe Terence Mekoski will Protect and Improve the Quality of Life of Macomb County. A short video from Republican Terence Mekoski follows.

Whatever your choice, remember to vote in person on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, or apply for an absentee ballot for any reason online.
